As an industry-driven university, we are creating an academic environment where industry is an integral part of the learning journey. Our distinctive 70:30 academic-industry model combines academic foundations with industry expert engagement. Industry participation, live projects, certifications, internships and mentoring are embedded into the learning experience.
At STR, learning by doing is at the heart of our approach. Students will work on real-world challenges and industry problem statements, undertake projects every semester, participate in hackathons and build portfolios. Our roadmap aims for every graduate to leave with projects, internships, certifications and practical accomplishments - not merely a degree.
Our curriculum is NEP-aligned, interdisciplinary and AI-integrated, preparing students for a rapidly changing world. Alongside technological competence, we emphasize communication, leadership, teamwork, ethical responsibility, entrepreneurship and lifelong learning.
We are equally committed to creating a vibrant innovation and startup ecosystem. Through ideation, prototyping, hackathons, intellectual property support, incubation and mentorship, we encourage students to transform ideas into solutions, products and enterprises. Research is another important pillar, with opportunities for students and faculty to engage in funded projects, publications, patents and industry-linked research.
With a strong global outlook, the School of Technology and Research aims to provide students with international exposure through collaborations, student mobility, global internships, and diverse academic opportunities. The school will further strengthen global competencies through its German and Japanese Language Training Centres.
We believe placement readiness begins from the first year. Through skill development, industry mentoring, internships, mock interviews, certifications and personalized guidance, we strive to make every student placement-ready and future-ready.
