Anti Ragging Committee

About the Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee comprising the following members has been constituted in accordance with the guidelines and regulations prescribed by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Committee is responsible for ensuring compliance with the provisions of the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions and all applicable laws relating to ragging. The Committee shall investigate complaints of ragging, recommend appropriate disciplinary action against offenders, and monitor the effective implementation of anti-ragging measures within the institution. It shall also oversee and review the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in preventing, detecting, and addressing incidents of ragging, thereby ensuring a safe, secure, and conducive learning environment for all students.

Anti-Ragging Squad (ARS)

The Anti-Ragging Squad comprising the following members has been constituted in accordance with the regulations and guidelines issued by the UGC and the AICTE to ensure a safe, secure, and ragging-free campus environment. The Squad functions as the operational and monitoring body for the prevention of ragging within the institution. It is responsible for maintaining constant vigilance, conducting regular inspections and awareness activities, promptly addressing complaints, and taking immediate steps to prevent and curb any incidents of ragging. The Squad works in close coordination with the Anti-Ragging Committee to ensure effective implementation of anti-ragging measures and to foster a culture of mutual respect, dignity, and inclusiveness among students.
